About Me

Born and raised in Southern California, Calvin received his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from Cal Poly Pomona and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chapman University. After finishing school, he worked for the medical group Providence in their integrative medicine clinic for 5 years, where he focused his attention on orthopedics and holistic health. Through this experience, he was able to learn and work with functional medicine providers and learn about how to provide the most holistic care to each individual. He also worked with volleyball club teams, middle/high school basketball teams, football teams, and professional football athletes helping them in developing rehabilitation programs from sports injuries and injury prevention programs.

My Approach

Calvin has treated clients of all age ranges and activity levels from professional and collegiate athletes to elderly seniors by helping them get back to their best self using holistic physical therapy approaches and innovative treatments. He has treated all sorts of pain and discomfort including chronic headaches, neck pain, TMJ pain, and low back pain. He also has extensive experience in rehabilitating sports injuries such as knee pain, ACL tears, ankle sprains, and rotator cuff injuries.

He specializes in a technique called CranioSacral Therapy, which involves using a light-touch, whole-body treatment technique that works with the body’s craniosacral system to support and nourish the central nervous system. With this approach, he is able to specifically identify what the body needs and provide support  in the body's own healing process. Conditions that he has treated with this technique include, but are not limited to: migraines, headaches, chronic pain, concussions, chronic fatigue, anxiety, depression, TMJ pain, ADHD, Scoliosis, sciatica, and low back pain.
